Introducing Little Darner which appeared in Feller Collection : 2 book. A small Victorian needlework darning sampler c.1870 worked with coloured cotton on a linen ground, with seven patterned darns, within a rosebud and gillyflower border.
The design size is 164 x 155 stitches.
The model was stitched on 40ct hand dyed linen from Primitive Gathering using DMC and AVAS Soie d’alger.
The instructions include large picturesof each of the darning patterns and a further chart details the border and darning positions.
