Anonymous, Bristol Sampler

Introducing a traditional Bristol Sampler, c. 1880 which appeared in the Feller Collection : 2 book and was purchased by myself from their auction. Anonymous appeared on page 81 under the section entitled Love of Letters, The Feller Collection: 2 Book.

The design size is 283 x 298 stitches.

The original is approximately 35cm x 32.2cm and on a linen count of 48ct.

The model is stitched on 45ct Legacy Jersey Cream with AVAS 100/3 - #524 thread in traditional cross-stitch. The linen and thread was chosen by the lovely Jean Lea from The Attic. She tried to persuade me to do it on 56ct but love the Jersey Cream.
